Social Tennis

USTA Montana Social Tennis is a program geared toward adult social play for USTA members and NON-USTA members ages 18 and over. The format is social, fun, and includes men and women’s doubles and mixed doubles.

Our league is perfect for both new and seasoned players looking for a way to play tennis in a more relaxed setting. With social leagues, the emphasis is on the fun of playing and being with friends, not on the outcome of the match.

Social Tennis is for players who just want to play or practice without the structure of organized league play. We provide balls, beverages, and snacks.

Missoula Social Tennis is back for 2019!

We’re excited to bring social tennis back to Missoula for the third year in a row.  Missoula Social Tennis consists of a 6-week session on Thursdays, May 23-June 27 from 5:45 – 7:15 p.m. at Playfair Courts.  No tennis July 4.  Make-up session July 11.   The cost is $36.00 for the whole session plus Eventbrite processing fees. Includes dollar-off drink tickets to the Dram Shop!

The first hour consists of a clinic taught by USPTA certified pros, followed by organized matches. We give you a 1-hour lesson, which may include stroke fundamentals or games. Then we pair you up with players of similar ability in doubles, singles, or mixed doubles matches. Stay for just the clinic or stay for both and put what you’ve learned from the drills into real-life game situations.  Please register in advance for planning purposes.
