In perhaps the best weekend for college tennis in Montana history, the MSU and U of M Men’s and Women’s teams went a combined 8-0.  The Men’s teams both easily dispatched both North Dakota and Northern Colorado, guaranteeing that both the Bobcat and the Grizzly men will make it to the Big Sky Conference Tournament.  It was the Women’s teams that were stellar this weekend though.  The Cat’s and the Griz both handled Northern Colorado’s Women’s team by scores of 5-2 and 7-0 respectively.  Sac State’s Women came into this weekend with a 112 Big Sky Conference match win streak spanning over a decade.  The Griz handed them their first loss 4-3 Friday morning, followed by the Cats beating them 4-3 in the afternoon!  Congratulations to all coaches, players and staff on such a great weekend!
