Peak Pro-Am Continues its Support for Local Children’s Shelter

In its third year of support for the Watson Children’s Center, the Peak Pro-Am in Missoula was able to donate over $60,000 to the children’s shelter.  This event pairs bidding members from the tennis community with tennis professionals throughout the state and region.  This year ATP Tour players Robert Kendrick and Jesse Witten also attended.  Funds were raised through bidding for a partner, a junior and adult clinic, a silent auction and donations.  The Watson Children’s Center is a haven for neglected and abused children throughout Western Montana and supports hundreds of children each year.  This is the third year for the Pro-Am and although this has been the most successful year, the three year fundraising total exceeds $100,000.  Congratulations to Juliette, Fran, the staff at the Watson Children’s Center, all the pros who came to Missoula and donated their time, and of course, Scott Potter for all his tireless work.
